When I raced 81beers on a hot humid night (excuses already lol) in my old b7 s4 when he was apr93v1 / cats/ lw wheels/exhaust he was like 2.5 cars out on my old b7 but if we went more than 50_110 it could d have gotten really ugly. Ever see that video?

GTR’s are crazy quick.

I was at the track on friday (didn’t get to race, missed tech cutoff) but there was two GTR’s racing one was i’m guessing stock since it is not hard to drive those things it ran ~ 12.4ish and another one that ran ~11.3. Other thing that was racing was an E92 M3 and it was pulling horrible times all night (14-15’s). DA was kind of iffy at 1450.

Keep these numbers coming interesting stuff! Would love to see some numbers off the new AMG Biturbo V8’s and hopefully soon an S6. Should be interesting!

That car was my B7 S4 that went 12.99@ 107. My RS4 is definitely quicker in bone stock form.

That B8 S4 is a good running one…one of the fastest B8 S4s on earth now a days. This was before he had the pulley though. It really wasn’t murdering my S4 but it sure won easily. For further perspective the same night he raced a stage III B5 S4 (VAST, frankenturbos, full exhaust, ER SMIC, avant) and the B5 beat him every time. That B5 is the car that got annhillated by the supercharged RS4 with the count vohn tune and the TVS1320 blower.

So I guess I see where RS4tony is coming from. Auditude is just a bit of a mouthpiece, but in a pull sure a tuned B8 S4 should beat an Rs4 but it’s not going to be a disaster. I bet I could stay within 2 car lengths of a REVO tuned B8 S4 or the same with a stage II B8 with APR.

auditude did a pull with his did in the B8 S4 with REVO tune…and RS4 tony driving his then reasonably stockish RS4. It was not that bad…maybe 2.5 cars also. Auditude will make it out to be the world but look at it objectively and rationally. If a car is beating you by 4-5 tenths in the quarter mile that’s about 4-5 car lengths. That’s going to equate to about 2, maybe 3 cars on the highway doing a 50-120 type pull. That’s a good margin but hardly anything to go crazy about. If it was 3 buslengths like it was when the RS4 with SC raced the B5 S4, then shit yeah that’s a vicious beatdown…but these pulls here with (BONE STOCK) RS4s and (tuned/exhaust/LWwheels/cats) B8 S4s are pretty nominal dfferences where it matters (0-100 mph).

we are in fall. working on getting a bunch of us to go, including tony and NY07RS4. too hot now and way too packed with cars. DAs are in 1500-1700 range during daytime past few days.

nights are a different story though. ;D

Still working on getting these two guys out. M5 is insane.

interesting to compare. S6atron’s B5 S4 with RS6r turbos and a JHM tune. Not sure what else, but it’s stock block and stock rods, so a conservative tune. Those turbos are very strong and need to be reigned in on stock rods etc.
. He did a few pbox pulls and sent me the file. Was looking to compare it to this here…

2001 Stage 3 B5 S4 (Custom tuning, KO4 turbos/ 60lb injectors)/6MT on 93 pump gas. (DA -1300)
60-90 3.15s

S6atron’s 60-90 time was 2.7 seconds, with a shift in there (he was running through the gears, not trying to do a 60-XXX pull) in 1000 feet or so of density altitude. Starts off uphill for 3 feet, then down for 6 feet so looks like 3 feet of downhill net in there though so not apples to apples (although neither is the DA, by a lightyear.)

Looks like his car is coming along pretty nicely. Tsivas do you have any other 60-90 data from that Gallardo etc?

Tested new M5 last night. 700 miles. Bone Stock. Mentioned some dealer unlock at 1200 miles also.

I’ll do breakdown later. Laptop and sd card at home.

Same track. DA was -250. Gonna start seeing some sweet times now.

60-130 was 9.3s

Car is insane. :o Barely hear it running. We will rerun after dealership visit.

2012 Bone stock GTR ran 9.9 on same track. DA was +1300 though. Will retest with nicer weather.

People coming out of hiding with colder weather now. Might see some more nice cars being tested.

Ya lol. Richi’s my boy. He said I could hold on to it until he needs again. Easier than shipping back n forth all the time. Getting crazy use out of it anyways and really good comparison data- was collecting dust for year+ before that. I think I have over 150 pbox runs for all the different cars I have tested.

Getting a Merc c63, twin turbo Jeep srt8, Corvette Grand Sport and a heavily modded GTR on the test track soon. RS5 guy still waiting on him.

Hopefully NY07RS4 gets one last try in after he is all done with his shitload of JHM mods. I’m really curious what one will do with all the JHM bolt-ons.

re: NY07RS4, get a before and after done for him. He only has exhaust and tune I believe. The other stuff is nominal. Not many parts out there for the RS4. Should give him a good bump anyway.

IIRC it was…JHM 93 tune, JHM 2.75" exhaust, JHM LW CP, JHM LW FW, JHM Stage 4 clutch, JHM intake spacers, JHM LW rotors.

Ya jeep is nuts. 850 whp/750 wtq on pump. Has E85 tune also.

I think he is aiming for mid 9s with E85 tune and once it’s fully dialed in (over 1000 whp). Spent ridiculous money on it.

As far as what I have installed currently: Tubi mufflers, JHM LW F&R rotors.

All the parts Tsivas listed are in my garage.

THen I have mounts/suspensions/maintenance items etc. It’s like a freeking parts warehouse. I’ll try and get out to do a before and after 60-???.

Do a nice real world scenario if you are uncomfortable with the higher speeds… from roll…30 -100? 5 runs for stock and modded setup. Eliminate launch variable from doing dig runs/setting up perfectly on our track. Should get a nice comparison.

Do a 1/4 mile run. If the road is nice and flat, it will give us all the info we need. Then do it again modded. Simple.

Not sure why we give a fuck about what our cars are doing accelerating from the highway speedlimit to 130 mph when we drive from 0-100 MPH every day. I’d much rather know what it’s doing from 1st gear through 4th. There are plenty of big-turbo cars out there who dominate 60-130 and lose real races every single day.

Anyway, when we see the data for your quarter mile time, we can deduct about 0.20 (0.18-0.21 seems to be the range) to see what you’d likely have run at a certified dragstrip. Then we need to look at your trap speed and average your speed over the last 66 feet of the ‘track’ to get a ‘trap speed’ (vs. the final MPH at the 1320 foot mark that the pbox spits out.

Not really easy to do a full stop and line up/ launch where we are. He can shlep out to etown for that. Federales are on high alert here from some recent events.

And I think we can deduce a ton from a 30-100 pull no? Still is a real world driving scenario.

so you can’t run from a stop to 110 mph, but you can run from 60-130 MPH? That’s odd.
