There are plenty of stock 2013 DSG cars 
And stock B8 DSG times are already there. Just need one 2013 DSG to test 60-130. If it is in 15.5-16.5 range (assuming stock B8 were tested at Summer) then B8.5 are fine, but I am afraid to see something like 17+ 
Because at every gear except 1st it pulls slower, plus short-shifting at about 6300-6400 does not add to a trap speed. I assume you mean “bigger gearing” as longer gears, because actually gear ratios are smaller, not bigger.
testing on different nights presents a quirk in the data. Are you going to draw a conclusion from summer 1500 feet DA data vs. winter -1000 feet DA data?
getting them both together, both bone stock, both same weight, both same night…that’s pretty interesting.
Stock for stock the changes won’t matter much IMO because of the boost bypass and the 13’s gears may actually help… Once tuned and these cars are making power to redline vs bleeding boost and the 10’s-12’s will keep the car more in the meat of it’s powerband…
Going by memory as I am in the office… 2nd gear rdeline shift drops me to 4800rpm, 3rd gear to 5200rpm, 4th gear to 5400rpm, and 5th gear to 5400rpm The 13’s will drop the cars to a lower rpm thus taking them to a less favorable rpm where they are making less HP/TQ… A caveat to that is some of us are actually shifting into 5th before we cross the line so there is an “extra” shift on B8’s but given how the DSG shifts I think that is offest by the rpm gain… Also, the B8.5’s have the 6500rpm or so shift which will hamper tham even more… IMO the new DSG S4’s once tuned won’t perform nearly as well as the B8, but time will tell… Like Vi112 said Dparm made a nice thrust chart on this…
BTW, S6/S7 has the same gear ratios as 2013 S4, but 4.093 final drive, that is much better match!
Hey fellas… Still no power from the storm. Just catching up on what’s been going on in cyberland with some Internet access finally. Been rough few days. Unbelievable damage to certain areas of Jersey and Long Island.
Sadly both our test tracks/places we do top speed runs and vbox have been destroyed by the storm. They will be repaved but it’s not top priority right now.

Good news is coast guard cleared all these tankers to finally dock at port so we can get some damn gas. Mile long waits for gas and angry battered people do not mix well.
And there’s no 93 anywhere.
Have my handy race gas to mix if needed.
The strip is surrounded by ocean/water on both sides. Doesn’t take much with the storm surge that came in and full moon tides.

It is plain nuts. I literally poured 5 gallons of VP100 in my tank today that was sitting in my garage for some future comparison testing because I refuse to idle for over an hour+ to get gas. I just went out now to see if it is better, 12:00 am, the lines are fucking epic. I should have taken video. It is straight bananas. Hoping tomorrow will be less painful.
