Updated Vbox list.....

F U both, bastids. ;D

I already told Saki, we will plan a track run without telling the forums. Then we will only announce that we went if we boke every platform’s current record lol.

We’ll go, I’m back late November. Tsiv and I will cook up some plans with some of the locals.

Forgot I had Tony’s updated run from 10/13. Thought Pete added.
B7 RS4, JHM intake spacers, ECS H pipe, JHM L/W fw and clutch, JHM LW F Rotors.

NY07RS4’s car is running a little better up top. Hopefully he comes out one night next week.

looks like he got slower? his times are back to stock RS4 times. Those numbers look just like my car.

since he got raped by NY07RS4 I wonder if he has a vac leak somewhere? Surprised he hasn’t started eleven threads about that yet. He never used to be shy about starting a thread about every thought that entered his head lol.

Interesting to compare this to axel’s S4 avant who we tested on a flat road last weekend in Density altitude -1000. he was 3.88 60-90 and 60-100 was 6.09. That was with me driving, axel sitting passenger, and another 100 lbs of shit in the car that would normally be out of it.

Axel would rape a stock RS4 now from the looks of it. If you take the passenger and cargo weight out of axels car (an extra 350 lbs)…that 60-90 advantage he has of 0.4 seconds is going to get even bigger. That’s pretty significant.

I dunno. Car seems fine per him when he was running. He has been known to sneak in 100 here and there.
Just want Paul to come out and test out a freshly carbon cleaned car with minimal mods. With perfect DA.

Gotcha. Testing stock RS4s won’t be so exciting to be honest. Didn’t you test his car a few months back?

I should do some testing of my car vs. Mistro’s RS4. Three weeks ago in -1000 density altitude (or so) he went 12.4 @ 113 with precats gutted but main cats in, JHM intake spacers., and the resonator deleted for some noise. He had a carbon cleaning done about 2 months earlier. No tune, no catback, pump gas, full weight. Same day I went (bone stock) 12.83 @ 109. He crushed me.

His car will be threatening 12.0 to maybe sneaking into the elevens at 114-115 once he gets a tune and exhaust and some LW parts in it. All motor, pump gas. Pretty interesting. I don’t expect any B8 guys to remember any of this…all of the RS4s accomplishments are quickly forgotten on these forums

I know but Paul has less mods than him and pulled away comfortably up top where there was no shifting. That’s a pretty simple indication that something isn’t right.

I think only differences were Paul had fresh carbon clean vs 1 year for Tony and 12K miles added since last one I believe. Both have the JHM IM spacers, Paul has LW F and R rotors vs F for Tony. Paul also has the JHM underdrive pulley. Tony had the LW FW/clutch combo, Paul was stock. Fresh plugs, fuel filter, and some other stuff for Paul. Paul has 034 intake tube, Tony had it but took off while ago. Exhaust wise… Tony has H pipe (does nothing) and Paul has a catback IIRC- Tubi Rumore (prob does nothing also).

ahh, you’re right Paul has a bunch of little mods I always forget about.

Does either one have piggies?

p.s. it’s just a lightweight pulley, OEM size, that saves a few lbs that rotate with the crank. Frees up some power like the LW rotors/wheels/flywheel.

No one has piggies yet. Would be nice for us to get a perfectly running RS4 stock run in … do a 20-whatever blast as well as 60-130 extrapolation. Compare that to his full JHM setup he will do soon. Will show us a ton I am sure. Especially where car is gaining most ground.

Some pictures of the A6 intake finally got put up; looks pretty killer

Wonder if there’s enough for the S4 to rock this setup

That’s one nice looking intake… and the grill - love it!

Here’s the 12.0 run

Cool

] can you post your slips for your 11.8 or whatever it was, as well as the modlist and octane?

Thanks

P.S. Was it wet? And foggy

TSIV - when you update the chart, here are my current installed mods for the runs I did tonight:

JHM LWCP
JHM Intake Spacers
JHM LW Rotors F&R
034 MAF Hose
Tubi Mufflers (axle back)
93 Octane
Winter wheel/tire set up = 8LBS heavier per corner than OEM.
DA = You fill in when you have a chance.

Next time I run it will be:
JHM LWCP
JHM Intake Spacers
JHM LW Rotors F&R
034 MAF Hose
JHM 2.75" Full exhaust (DP’s and catback - most likely with HF Race cats that I sourced)
JHM Tune
JHM Stage IV Clutch & LW FW
JHM Trio SS
OEM wheel/tire set up
93 OCT
DA TBD

I’m not listing all of my suspension mods etc as they don’t really contribute. Other than they may be a little lighter than OEM parts.

Holy shit your winters are 32lbs heavier than oem

Thats like having a fat passenger in the car

Yeah between the wheel and tire they are 8lbs more. I think the wheel is 6 lbs more and the tires are 2lbs more iirc.

Edit: they are 6lbs more than OEM. The wheels are 2lbs more than OEM and the tires are 4lbs more than OEM.

Still, losing 24 lbs of rotating mass will feel like getting tuned. It’s a car length or so in a pull… Or 1.0 tenths at the strip.

TSIVAS… Any updates?

Sorry Saki- been swamped at work. Sd card still sitting in my work computer. I am almost done. Have a bunch of cars/runs for updated post/times. Should be done tomorrow at work during lunch.

Paul did a 12.19 IIRC for 60-130.

Ok here are a few more runs from a few nights of testing. We have had the luxury of testing @ -2000 DA nights. Insane weather.

– the Roc Euro Intake has improved all three cars times (GIAC,REVO and mine) in all acceleration tests.
– the Revo Car is running faster 60-130 times than all the other tunes (APR stage 2, GIAC stage 1). In fact- comes close to our race gas times. Runs really great in this cold weather.

+1 for you Tsivas for managing this stuff. Thanks again.
