Thanks!

Dzow, where are you? I think I’m gonna bring my car to Brussels this fall. I was thinking about moving on, but after chasing an oil leak with a series of parts replacements, I think I’m gonna end up putting enough into it that I may as well keep it.

I live north of antwerp.
We had a short contact before trough pm… If you want to know specific things you can always contact me

Did you ever get those pictures I’m stumped

I hope this works for you…

So look below where the bigger tube ‘‘twists’’

That definitely helps I’m about to go back and take a look

Ok this is what I’m seeing am I missing something because I can’t find the hose

From what I see here I think it’s the last hose on the back that’s coming upwards on your last picture…

The one on top with the blue writing?

It was! Thanks for your help!

It starts! And sounds better than ever. I do have a question, would the coolant that leaked out on the exhaust manifold make a smoke screen?

Yes. Spy hunter style

That clears that up haha

Really been watching this thread as I’m pretty much in the exact same spot. Just finished VC gaskets and am about to get the manny off as soon as I can carve out another full day. Robo, I just have one question though as I’ve been following this thread - whatever happened with that rocker arm?

I took all the pieces out and of course it’s misfiring because of it but I’m going to have the engine dropped at this point

Gotcha - are you still planning on driving it or are you already starting to plan for a drop? Even with that loose arm removed - I would imagine a misfire alone would be at the low end of concern. How detrimental does this group suppose continuing to drive will be to the life of the engine?

I’m unsure honestly. I have an extended warranty that I just started and I think if it comes down to it I could get a newer engine. But until then I’ll take a few trips around town and get it up to operating temp a few times

Ok the passenger side fuel line that leads to the fuel rail under the manifold is leaking (the thicker line) my crows foot wrench from harbor freight couldn’t reach and tighten it much. What should I do because I’m now tired of the gas smell
