There have been two slips saki. What does the other slip need to be put in? Not sure what the difference between bigerns post and all of the info we have about the other slip. We have down to what wheels he is running. I told you you wouldn’t find a lot of people. I’m not sure what you were expecting.

That leaves just bigern’s RS6 turbo race/meth time of 11.9 @ 124 as the only EPL time we’ve learned of that is not represented on the list already?

One confirmed EPL slip entered (Bigern)

The other guy (Dennis) it is still not even clear if he was EPL tuned. AudiSportB5S4 said Dennis was GIAC tuned when he went 11.6 @ 120 at waterfest.

I can’t see it, but if you watch that video at show-n-go it may list his mods and tune. Then the 11.8 could at least be added if he was EPL tuned there. Would be funny if he went slower lol.

I pm’d audisport, but he admittedly has an axe to grind with EPL, so we should check it out. Not questioning him, but ignoring the time on his comment would be unfair to EPL. It’s the EPL world record lol.

I think he, like lots of us, are just sick of all the dyno bragging with no proof from the company (not just EPL…I’m talking ALL of the Audi platforms/tuners like APR, GIAC, PES, ASP, VF Engineering etc…all of whom were badgered for timeslips to back up their dyno claims). The problem is that you big mouthed guys (you, tweet etc.) end up being a proxy for the company because

a) the company doesn’t post in most of the threads
b) the company doesn’t hit the dragstrip to take the pressure off you guys.

That’s not fair, but when you start flying the flag, you can expect to have to receive the artillery. I’m a big mouth JHM supporter too, but it’s a lot easier to do lol.

Audisport was trying to goad you a bit with that comment earlier into maybe running your car finally. He’s linked to VAST, so they’re head to head against EPL/AMD…understandable that he has an extra level of animosity to EPL flag flyers. Not sure why he doesn’t have audisportb5S4@VAST as his username though. I never understood that ‘reseller’ thing.

I think that’s where most people fail to understand about me. I could care less (saki :slight_smile: ) about people try to “goad” me in to dragging my car. All it proves to me is how well the car and driver are…

It would just suck knowing that you’re driving your car (on the street) and up comes a modded M6 on the freeway. roll races prove very little unfortunately. It benchmarks you against the other car/driver. Great.

dragrace timeslips benchmark you agianst 50 years of racing history and documented tests on every car in history. Lot more valuable as a tuning market evaluation tool.

As for doing roll races, once again you’re out to lunch. Who on earth dragraces their car but refuses to do a side by side roll race with someone? I’ve never known someone who hits the strip who won’t do a roll race.

That’s great. I can post up 1500whp underground cars that run 9s in the 1/4 but 3 sec 60-130. What Is your argument there saki? Why does it not line up with your claim of the 1/4 being the only measuring stick. 1/4 is more about driver, 60-130 isn’t. Doesn’t mean one is more accurate, the Vbox is a pretty darn good lie detector test.
I’ve seen drag strips that are a touch down hill and uphill…
