hahahahaha nice. It’s true…it’s horrible behind me. And that pic is my car in ‘race mode’ where I’m a bit closer than my normal relaxed position.
Although, I did have 4 people in the car today (first time ever). I wasn’t exactly heel-toe downshifting (hard to when your knees keep hitting the signal and wiper levers) but it worked. 4 guys all 5’10" or taller.
who said ‘jhm tune is jhm tune’?? I said Dan was on the boring 91 file.
Anyway, if you are racing Ben, aren’t you both the same box code? Thus won’t that be irrelevant (even if JHM hadn’t evened out the playing field on all the ECU types?)3
My car is a J I believe. Will be interesting to see what it does with just exhaust. Then with tune + exhaust. I’m betting it’ll be interesting.
For the record mick, since you’re posting here, my car is bone stock and has never been carbon cleaned. This post seemed to intimate that I may be hiding modifications or something. If I say I’m stock, I’m stock. If you chose your words poorly, and meant to say ‘I don’t know if he said he has any mods’ that’s fine. Although the guy just told you I said I ran 12.94 bone stock. That is now 12.75 bone stock, never cleaned.
Reply 1: Yes i will be taking out the back seats which will result in a weight loss of 418lbs total, because this is how I will run the car on lapping days. This means that on DD days, with these back in, and my stock seats back in, and regular wheels and tires back on the car, my car will only be ~225 lighter than stock.
Reply 2: I am not too concerned about what people think there. I am only interested in measuring my car as it sits now. I have already done a couple of runs stock or close to stock (pig pipes) and resulted in 13.13 at 106mph. Then did some runs with tune, at about 170lbs lighter than stock, and that resulted in 13.0 110mph and then a 13.0 107.8mph. Now I want to do a full lightweight run with how the car sits and the tune I have available to me at the time, which is looking like in a couple weeks will still be the V7 J Box tune which is significantly milder than The V7 A box tune or George’s VR tune, or Dan’s A box tune. So in the e d this is going to affect me still. Even though my times are not down, my shifting is good, my launch is cautious, and the limits of the tune I have now are evidenced by the top end. I could repeat 107.8 13.0 several times. Its not fully a driver issue as to why I am not getting in the mid to low 12’s. I just can’t get that top end because J box tunes are not as developed.
Reply 3: No worries its just an opinion. Its actually nice talking civilly with you on this. I am doing it because I can easily put these back in and daily. I want to run the car on the track in its best possible configuration. So dropping weight is an easy solution. Eventually this will not be my daily driver, and I may go more aggressive with the weight, etc. Time will tell. But in my opinion, the key to posting times is not how you ran it, but more of what you did and full disclosure. If I got out and run a 12.4 or something in mid may and don’t disclose the weight lose, tune, then it leaves questions. I disclose everything including environmental data. I will even put how much I weigh personally after I slam a couple hot dogs at the track. The object is to drive the best time, do what you gotta do to get the best time, but disclose it. Don’t drop a 12.2 and then fail to let everyone know you had 100 octane and a tune and it was 12 degrees F outside.
Reply 4: Ben and I actually did a decibel test on the car. The California state patrol test by standing I believe 4 feet from exhaust tip at a 45 degree angle and record the DB output at a steady 3k rpm. Limit is 95db. I came in at 93db, I believe ben was 94db with his new setup. That is with test pipes in. For an indexed guess at various setups:
Stock: 85db
Stock plus ECS H Pipe and Pig Pipe: 88db (but significant tone changes down low, not much louder just a hell of a lot sexier.
JHM full with Cats: 92db again a tone change but higher pitch like F1 car.
JHM Full No Cats: 93db, same tone change as with cats installed.
Ben’s setup: 94db, but has a very similar pitch to the JHM setup, but has a it more rasp. However that was with brand new mufflers, and since Ben has reported the sound has really smoothed out and is pretty similar to the full test pipe JHM. Its a bit higher pitched to me and more burbly.

I never said that today. I have no idea what you did with your car, if its stock and you ran 12.75, thats very very good. I could only muster a 106.x mph 13.124 in stock form. Pig pipes and ECS h pipe alone won’t get you much. Like I said I fully disclose what I do to my car before any runs. I am sure you are as well. I was just saying if you were doing subsequent runs, I don;t know what your plans were for doing some mods.
I think it’s pretty funny that Ben decided to become an exhaust company (horrible business as I’m sure he’ll soon find out) because he wanted an exhaust for his car but didn’t want a JHM exhaust because he didn’t like the sound. That’s what he said anyway.
JHM exhaust is a 2.75" full back with an x-pipe crossover and flows through Sebring mufflers.
What does Ben make?
A 2.75" fullback with an x-pipe crossover that flows through Sebring mufflers.
Now we hear from someone who has heard it that it sounds very similar to the JHM setup. Hilarious. Wonder if anyone predicted any of this?
You said that to that douchebag badblueRS4 on quattroworld at the link I posted. He ran high 13s in his car, and was all mad that I ran 12.9 bone stock. He was claiming that it was basically impossible. Moron. I guess he doesn’t read magazines or forums where we’ve seen a dozen 12 second RS4 quartermile times over the years.
Anyway, you emboldened him with your tales of running 13.1 and said that if someone was carbon clean and lucky, they could run 13.0 @ 107.
Then he said ‘I knew saki was lying about running 12.9 stock!’ to which you said that I had the slips, but it was still to be determined if I was indeed stock or hadn’t carbon cleaned my car when I ran 12.94. Nothing about the future there. That’s why I brought it up. I don’t appreciate being disrespected or having my honesty questioned. You can call me a jhm fanboy or say I’m mean for calling people out, but don’t fucking question my integrity.
saki saki saki…at it again I see…Swesna is right…you need your own reality tv show! “real housewives of toronto” they’d get so many viewers just to watch YOU…I see you’re still using words like “douchebag” which remind us all how lame you really are! and on top of the trolling on sites that you’re banned from, which I warned you about b4…you still seem to do it! as we already cleared up on other sites…and as Mick has already taught you…conditions and full disclosure is needed for your “lame” 1/4 mile schoolboy “pissing contests”…you comparing what you “claim” you did (damn near in the water) in 50 degree toronto can and will not EVER compare to other times run in other COUNTRIES with other HOT/HUMID 1400 ft CONDITIONS!!! and finally 1/4 mile drag racing is not the purpose of this car…since you seem to want to “instruct” Mick on Audi’s purpose of it! If you still think your car is SO fast and immune form carbon build-up, I have said it b4, and I will say it again, LINE UP AGAINST ME, OR GIBSON ANYTIME and then you can report back to your goon squad how bad you got BITCHSLAPPED!!!
LOL that was a pretty lame and thoughtless “teenager” response once again…I see when you get mad…you just turn red and your brain shuts DOWN!!! LOL you’re lucky you’re all the way in Toronto…and I’m not driving my car all the way up there to call you out and own you in front of your goon squad…then what will you use to boost your ego??? ha big boy saki?? hey my offer still stands on a loan for your first carbon clean…I really want to help you out housewife!
what is this almighty purpose of the RS4? I would like to be enlightened. Because I see many cars in many countries interested in straight line speed. What is the best measurement for this straight line speed? O ya the 1/4 mile. What do people look at in car and driver? 0-60, 0-100, 1/4 time…or do we care about our braking distance or skidpad. Maybe a sweet HUD display in our vettes to see how many G’s we are pulling.
and NO SHIT cars perform better at different DAs, but why hate on people who are near sea level? They do run faster because of the conditions, doesn’t make them liars!
and ya where the fuck is this mid 12s time slip??
Lastly, Saki why would this guy want to line up against you if he doesn’t believe in the 1/4 mile??
I don’t need to prove fuck all to you kid. My numbers speak for themselves. I ran 12.75 and half of this forum has met me and seen me drive.
You on the other hand are the mook who claims he ran high 13s in a 420 hp car…but can’t produce the timeslip (I’m thinking 14.0+ was the truth). Then you go and lose to a fucking bone stock 335 dragracing on city streets and posting about it all over the internet. Give me a break.
You’ve contributed nothing to any of these forums other than setting the record for over use of the exclamation point like a texting tween girl who just got Justin Bieber tickets. You’re nothing.
great question. He knows he’d get fucking tuned if we raced. The funny thing is he denounces the quarter mile because there are clocks and timeslips which show him out to be a shit driver. However he loves drag racing on the street. He started half a dozen threads on audiworld about how him and gibsonl/dayonaRS4 would go illegal street racing at business complexes with a bunch of buddies, all fast and furious like.
Here’s his giddy school girl reply to seeing one of my in car quarter mile videos from last year. Tell me if this sounds like I’m going to be taught a lesson by this mook.
LOL was that you in the S4? I can kinda tell from the shift pattern…you got a smooth quick shift bro! You seem to have mastered audi shifting! I’d love to see you do it in person! Cheers!
Your 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd shifts are CRAZY fast!!! I need to learn that skill! I’ve definitely been pushing the clutch all the way to the floor on every shift…so im sure thats slowing me down! I can’t believe your friends’ red RS4 pulled away from you so quick…I would swear his car was automatic if I didn’t know any better…if he used JHM…then I’m deftly going that route!
HAHAHA saki the way you lie on these forums makes it so easy to believe you would lie about a dragstrip…My friends were at the track with me and they saw my times and my slip…and the videos I posted were me KILLING a BMW 335iS…so what else would you like to lie about??? and get off of my times…you admitted yourself…driving a RS4 in bad conditions=bad 1/4 mile times…SO did you want to edit that post also??? HAHHAHA you’re so predictable! What’s the matter saki getting mad becuz we invaded your safe haven??? LOSER!! Go back to HS BOY!!! and yes me and gibson are friends…you should join the FBI with those detective skills! Just like you and BALLZDEEP are friends!!!

I’d get Tuned if we raced??? Ok cool…I guess you’re saying you’d buy me a Tune when I whip that Saki ASS all over toronto!!! Maybe then you’d take me up on that offer for a loan for your carbon clean…but its only a loan saki, I want my money back! And yes you’re right, I’d use to admire you on the forums b4 I saw how much of a cornball, arrogant, loser you were
damn man, that post from audi world, you were sucking Saki’s dick.
How do videos and time slips lie? None of you guys bring anything credible to the platform…name one thing that you have done?
Kill a stock 335? was it a roll race, because that shit is for pussys who can’t shift, the RS4 would not be my first car of choice in the roll race street racing scene.
listen here EUROLACKOFSWAG, who is sucking Saki’s dick right now??? No one was even talking to you or involving you or your S4 in any of this…but since you want to ASS-UME you know what the convo is about, let me school you too…FIRST of all it was a BMW 335IS…that is not a 335…its faster than a M3 with a tune and it has 30 mor hp and torque boosters and extra cooling over the regular 335…do some research and school yourself. It is my friends car and it is tuned…and it is VERY FAST…so don’t go jumping into a conversation between a Man and Boy, that you know nothing about…
