Arin, if you need drivers for all those cars at the strip, we’d be glad to help
I suck so I’ll stick to the DSG stuff.
We do have Ian Baas working for us full time in sales (and driving)
Video - turn it up . . .
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwM_5QRXFwg
From the few runs I did the readout was off also… Showed 3.3 and 3.4 0-60s when the card showed 3.7 and 3.8… No clue why?
Arin, We need baseline numbers on the s7 and s8:). Also, don’t worry about times on the stage3 s4, I’ll handle those:). Lol
Just a housekeeping entry from another post, just so we have another GIAC time on there. Although, I wonder if the reason it’s not there is because we only have one timeslip, rather than two?
The slip is in the video right here: http://youtu.be/WoCTPgHmTk8?t=25s

Saki, Can’t recall for sure but I have read of a few over the past couple years… Didn’t one run with you guys at TMP the one time?
PT, you are indeed correct. It’s not in the database but I’m not sure why. Here’s a video, with a picture of the timeslip taken by my own hand:
12.88 @ 108.9 for the GIAC 91 car, user seinsmeld. IIRC he has since sold his car and got a 2013.
Oh snap yeah… Totally forgot. I have another of his timeslips…when he raced me.
His car is for sale at Oakville audi if anyone wants to go 12.8 @ 110

why, in case retarded people come to view the thread?
I think everyone knows what that means. It’s noted on the quartermile list that there’s a downpipes/catback column. It’s also noted early in this thread what that would be describing.
Here’s an example of the list with the columns…

Precisely, clarity removes assumptions… It’s your thread though.
I don’t understand…what assumptions might people make?
They see that a B5 S4 has 3" catless/3.5" single
If anyone doesn’t know what 3" catless means, they’re not likely to
a) be on this web page in the first place
b) care what downpipes are anyway
I don’t think anyone is signing on, and saying ‘Was it a 3" rocketbooster and the owner prefers dogs?’. I just think you want to say ‘you’re wrong’ about something to me. Fine, say away. You showed me.
Here tweets…this is why I don’t need to post it here. From the OP. Pretty clear to me.
If you ever get to the dragstrip, now you know how to post your information up.
When you post up your times either here, or in your respective platform’s subforum, remember to include as much info about the run as possible i.e.:
tune
downpipes/catback
octane of the fuel you used
power adder on your car (if stock, say so i.e. B5 S4 K03 or B8 S4 TVSr1320…and if you’re a B5 with K04/RS6 hybrids, make note. If you’re an NA car with a supercharger setup, give as much info as you can about the kit and the power adder )
boost/shot (if you’re a boosted car and know the peak boost, post it up. If you’re running nitrous, post the jet size)
other mods (intake mani? lw rotors? FMIC/SMIC? etc.)
other info (any weight reduction done? tire size? density altitude if you know it…however DA corrected times are never going on this list, but it is always interesting to know in extreme cases if a car ran at say -1000 feet, or +6000 feet)
I think that catless doesn’t clearly imply straight pipe, that there could be an expansion in the pipe where cats were or could have been. Also, different down pipe makers have different bends and meet with the exhaust differently. They are A R design 3" downpipes. I think that is relevant.

It’s pretty clear what it refers to b/c the exhaust diameter is also mentioned.

I’m just trying to help, not trying to prove you wrong. I think it’s a good idea to mention maker of DP and size. That would be clear and give people an idea of who’s product was on the said car.

That’s a good point. I didn’t get the ARD info…thought it was all custom.
No, yeah, I didn’t mean to come across like that I was just suggesting help. AR design is not ARD. Two different companies.
Someone asked for this info on the tts rs4, so here it is. It was posted somewhere here already… I think the old thread in the rs4 forum. The slip is there too. 1.8x 60’ I think
